The newly machined and assembled parts have the deviation of geometric shape and matching size. In the early stage of use, due to the impact, vibration and other alternating loads, as well as the influence of heat, deformation and other factors, plus excessive wear and other reasons, it is easy to loosen the previously fastened parts.
Due to insufficient understanding of the structure and performance of the reducer (especially the new operator), it is easy to cause failures due to operational errors, and even cause mechanical and safety accidents.
Due to the small fitting gap of the newly assembled parts and other reasons such as assembly, lubricating oil (grease) is not easy to form a uniform oil film on the friction surface to prevent wear. Thus, the lubrication efficiency is reduced, resulting in early abnormal wear of the parts. In serious cases, the friction surface of precise fit will be scratched or occluded, leading to the occurrence of faults.
Due to the influence of parts processing, assembly and debugging of the new reducer, the contact area of the mating surface is small and the allowable torque is large. Reducer in the process of running, concave and convex part chimeric friction each other on the surface of the parts, grinding of metal debris fell down, and as an abrasive, continue to participate in friction, accelerate the abrasion on the surface of the parts with more.
Therefore, the run-in period is easy to cause parts (especially with the surface) wear. At this time, if the overload operation, it may lead to components damage, early failure.
